A LITTLE CURIOSITY GOES A LONG WAY

I like to build
around my
problems.

Hey, I'm Jimbo — a Data Science student at UC San Diego who enjoys turning everyday problems and personal curiosities into things I can build.

STUDENT. BUILDER. WORK IN PROGRESS.A few things I've been building
01 — SELECTED WORK

Small questions.
Things I built.

Each one started with a simple thought:
“There has to be a better way.”

02 — A BIT ABOUT ME

Curiosity is the
common thread.

I've always been drawn to patterns — in numbers, in a Rubik's Cube, or a good game of chess. Eventually, that curiosity found its way into code.

Now, I'm pursuing a B.S. in Data Science at UC San Diego (September 2024 – June 2028), with a 3.79/4.0 GPA, exploring software engineering and learning by making things. I like the process of taking a small, familiar problem and figuring out what I can do about it.

Driven when I'm building, easygoing when I'm not. Always happy to learn something new or meet someone interesting.

Let's get to know each other
LATELY, OUTSIDE THE TO-DO LIST

What I've been
into recently.

A little space for the things currently catching my attention.

  • Learning

Something I’m exploring — coming soon.

  • Enjoying

A current favorite — coming soon.

  • Trying

My next little experiment — coming soon.

A work in progress — just like me.
03 — ALONG THE WAY

Learning by doing.

A little research. A lot of data.
Real problems to work through.
